We should write our own seo tools for PR, search engine rankings, spider tools, keyword densities etc. There are free, php scripts we can use. Meanwhile here're a list of useful tools from sites that don't have forums of their own.

Ranking reports
It's important that you check progress in the search engines by making regular checks on your rankings for your selected keywords. http://www.prsearch.biz/ allows you to perform searches for your site's ranking in Google, Yahoo and MSN, down to a maximum of 1000 results. Don't abuse this tool; the search engines don't like over-usage of their resources by webmasters.

Google Page Rank Tools
http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank-dc.html is a useful online tool that allows you to check your homepage PR across the different Google datacenters.

During a toolbar PR update, you'll see a variation across these datacenters, and sometimes you can use this tool to try and guess what your final PR will be once the dust has settled.

Keyword Selection Tools
Keyword selection and targeting is one of the most critical aspects of any web marketing campaign.

These nichebot tools (http://www.nichebot.com/) allows you to enter a few keywords you are interested in, and it will tell you how many searches you might expect to be made for those keywords, and how many other websites are targeting them. It also suggests alternative keywords you might also want to target, so you can use it to find less competitive "niche" keywords you hadn't originally thought of.
